Take heed when winter arrives
for frost can burn and cut like knives.
And when your heart is challenged do recall
just how far you are willing to fall.

what we know from canon »
Geiravor is the eldest daughter of Loki, and sister to Sleipnir, Fenris, Jormungandr. She grew up in Asgard as Odin's ward alongside the Allfather's twin sons, Baldr and Hodr. While initially dismissive of Hodr's attempts to befriend her, the pair of them grew close over time.
Sometime in her teens she was rescued from Asgard in a mission led by Fenris. While the details remain unclear, Baldr attempted to burn her alive and she was, in fact, believed dead for several years.
At some point further on she became queen of Jotunheim. Hodr swore fealty to her instead of his father, leading to a war with Asgard, though the Jotnar ultimately lost. She was arrested with Hodr and, as punishment, Erased.
While she is no shapechanger or elementalist, her chaos magic manifests in the form of reality warping, which include glamour, astral projection, and illusions. Unlike the Valkyries, she doesn't need a rune to dreamwalk.

- In the years she was "dead," she posed as Rygi's younger sister and went by the alias Brynja Fjolverkrsdottir. She was actively involved in the realm's affairs as one of Loki's spies, though her father never intentionally sent her on missions where she would run into the Aesir.
- When the Aesir decided to steal Skidbladnir from Nidavellir before it could be delivered to Frey on Vanaheim, she led a mission to steal it in turn from the Aesir. Hodr got to the ship first, but she lured him into the dwarves' labyrinth to steal it away from him.
- Hodr became obsessed with finding her. He volunteered for more and more missions if only to have an excuse to track her down, eventually cornering her in Alfheim during one of Fae's festivals. He discovered that the Jotnar were working out an alliance with the Fae as they intended to strike against Asgard, but, more than that, he found out that Loki had lied to her to manipulate her into staying away from Asgard. They reconciled and decided to ditch their families, running off to Midgard.
- They lived in relative peace on Midgard for several years. The townsfolk called her Rapunzel, after the plant, and they went along with it. (Yes, she is OG Rapunzel, as in the inspiration for the fairytale.)
- Loki and Fenris located them at some point, but she was still mad at her father for manipulating her and refused to come home. She only changed her mind after the Aesir found their village and burned it all to the ground while she and Hodr were away. She went back to Jotunheim, took up the throne, and declared war against Asgard.
